Mr.Ramsay instilled great confidence from the moment I met him. He was smiley and welcoming and was easy to talk to. He asked me to go over the situation as I saw it and then explained exactly what he intended to do . He was careful to highlight the possible problems but was very positive about my condition and the excellent outlook. Post-operatively he visited me three times during the 24 hours before I was discharged. He was supported by very capable staff who looked after me skilfully and cheerfully in a very pleasant and efficient hospital. I genuinely could not have asked for better treatment.

Mr Ramsay was kind, caring and complimentive. He went through all the possible scenarios starting with the best case and what they would do and explaining how it would change if things didn't work. Mr Ramsay told me the actual terminology and scientific terms but then in real talk so I could fully understand. When I came in for the MRI results Mr Ramsay showed me the scan pictures and didn't just talk about it. He answered all my questions no matter how silly I thought they were.

Did not communicate with me very well or try to discuss options with me. Just gave me an impractical option with a take it or leave it attitude. Did not introduce himself at all. (No 'my name is'). Came across very rude and patronising - needs to work on his mannerisms with patients.
